The Pacific Northwest is one of the best regions for farming fast growing top grade pacific oyster and clams

Parcels start 50 acres up to total 1700
acres and is one of the largest Oyster farmlands available in the  Northwest.

Since before the earthquake and nuclear disaster in Japan, there had been growing concerns the Asian communities had
about the safety of eating seafood grown in
local waters.

Because of these concerns the Asian market has been driving the price of oysters up last few years, the price will continue go up because the Japan and other Asian coastal areas have water quality problem. The Gulf
of Mexico just had major oil disaster.

Washington state is closer to Japan and China than any other major oyster
producing region.

You don't have to feed the oysters, just harvest them after 2 or 3 years..better than farming timber: It take more than 50 years to harvest timber if you own the tree farm.
There are millions of acres of tree farm but very limited oyster land is available.

In the Grays Harbor Area there is plenty labor available for planting and harvest - property is close to the city of  Aberdeen which currently has  a very high unemployment rate due to the economy.  Because of this the area qualifies as depressed economic area attractive to foreign investors to acquire permanent immigration status- so invest half million in your company for 5 years free of interest -check with the EB-5 program to confirm

It's not difficult to learn how to grow oysters, check places like google and with state of Washington's oyster grower Association.  After you establish seeding, than wait to harvest, you do not have to feed oyster,
or use fertilizer.
